INTRODUCTION

The tendency to lie to conceal wrongdoing is sometimes evident among the Catholic episcopate. Take the case of Edinburgh priest Fr 'Andy' Monaghan, who on a phone-in advised pregnant women to attend an abortion-referral agency: the Brook Advisory Centre. His Archbishop then claimed he was 'doing God's work and the Pope's' (see "Andy" the Endless Agony Uncle' via the internet, also Appendix 2). The same tendency to conceal is revealed in the Vatican's account of the Third Secret of Fatima. For it contradicts all that was previously known about the Secret. Thus the Vatican claims it was fulfilled in past events, in contradiction of what the Pope himself has stated, namely that it corresponds with what is revealed in the Scriptural prophecies on the last days.1 The 'seer' of Fatima, Sr Lucia, affirmed this when she stated 'It's in the Gospels and the Apocalypse'.2 So we have ample authority to base this hypothesis on the Third Secret. What follows is a work of deduction. We start with 'the message of Fatima', the words spoken by Our Lady to Lucia. Then we will follow a chain of events that came in fulfillment of her warnings. These events suggest a theory - which we then compare with what is revealed in the prophecies of Scripture. Something cannot be both in the past and the future.. so what is the Vatican trying to hide from us?
